Privacy Policy
ArtDeco ("the app", "we", "us") lets you place your artwork into frames and room scenes and create mockups. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We collect as little as possible.
Your artwork and photos
The images you import are processed on your device. We do not upload your artwork or your mockups to our servers. Your projects are stored locally on your device. If you choose to save a mockup to Photos, the app asks for permission to add images to your photo library. It does not read your existing photos.
Etsy connection (optional)
If you connect your Etsy shop, you sign in on Etsy's own page. Etsy gives the app an access token, which is stored only in your device's Keychain. The app uses it to read your shop and listings and to upload the mockups you choose to your listings. This data goes directly between your device and Etsy; we do not receive it. You can disconnect Etsy in the app at any time, which deletes the token from your device. Etsy's handling of your data is covered by the Etsy Privacy Policy.
The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
Usage analytics
To understand how the app is used and to fix problems, the app may send anonymous usage events (for example, which screens and features are used). Each event includes a random app-generated identifier, app version, device model, operating system version, language and region setting. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts or the content of your images, and we do not use this data for advertising or tracking across other apps or websites.
Room scenes
The app downloads room scene images from our server when you use them. These downloads do not include any personal data beyond what any internet request contains (such as your IP address, which we do not store for identification).
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. We receive only the information needed to confirm which plan is active on your account. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
Support emails
If you contact support, the email draft includes your app version, an anonymous user ID, your device model, OS version and language, so we can help faster. You can remove these before sending. We use your email only to reply to you.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the app (Apple for purchases, Etsy if you connect it, and our hosting provider), or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
Data on your device is removed when you delete the app. Analytics events are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. To request deletion of any data linked to your anonymous ID, email us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data and to object to its processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
ArtDeco is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
